V-STARS Version 4.4 Released

Releasing V-STARS 4.4, Geodetic Systems Inc. increases the versatility and the process speed of their photogrammetric measurement and analysis software.

Examples of new features and improved handling are:

• Wireless capability for the INCA3 camera: pictures are automatically transfered to the computer using a wireless technology.
• Improved flash management on the INCA3 camera: 21 levels are now available.
• Faster bundle process: bundle speed is much higher (2 to 50 times faster depending on the data size). It is even more impressive with big data.
• Handling of several coordinate systems: it is now possible to use several coordinate system and switch from one coordinate system to another.
• Direct interface with Raindrop Geomagic Qualify ® software: this interface allows V-STARS to get a fast best fit alignment and to perform a CAD to part comparison.
• New radio remote control (Keyspan): this new radio remote control replaces the infrared device. This new device is connected through your USB and can also be used as a regular mouse.
• Easier triangulation of codes in M-Mode.
• Higher speed and improved handling of Pro-Spot measurements.
• Improved IGES import.
• Improved VDA import.
